Girl Scout Cookie time came and went for Jessica! She has been waiting for this. She sold a total of 44 boxes of cookies. She earned enough for her 2012 cookie bar patch. Way to go, Jessica. We can't wait until the cookies come out next month!
Jessica has also been working on her daisy patch for girl scouts!

Jessica's friend, Meredith gave Jessica a thank you card for coming to her sweet and sassy birthday party and for her birthday gift!

Here is Meredith and Jessica in Kindergarten at school! They are learning how to put sentences together!

Last Sunday, Jessica learned about Jesus in Sunday School.

What a friend we have in Jesus!

After Sunday School, we went to Maya's 5th birthday party! She held it at the ice skating rink! It was so fun and it was Jessica's first time ice skating!

And here was Maya ice skating. She already skates like a pro!

Jessica did a great job! She held on to the wall the first couple of laps, but after that Jessica didn't need to hold on to the wall! She wants to take ice skating lessons! She maybe dreaming of becoming a figure skater!

This January, it has been unusually warm. I found some yellow daffodils blooming in our backyard in JANUARY! Wow!

This might be the sign of an early spring this year! We sure hope so! We are looking forward to warm weather! It will be Groundhog Day in a couple of days, so we will see if he will see his shadow!

Earlier this month, Kayla got a good report card. She took the Iowa Skills Test and was ranked in the top percentile in different subjects for the nation! We're very proud of Kayla! We hope she keeps up the good work. We will see what February will have in store for us!
