Letters

Kylie came by the house the other day and brought Jessica this letter. So glad they're such good friends and enjoy playing together. Ever since we've moved to our neighborhood last summer, Jessica has met so many friends!

Last night, Jessica sat down and wrote this letter to the Easter Bunny. She is really excited about Easter.

Environmental Cleanup

Here was Jessica's girl scout troop sitting outside of an elementary school. They were here to earn the last petal of their daisy patch. Their job was to pick up trash around the school. How sweet of them to help out the environment!

They will soon be visiting an animal shelter. They are doing so many things to help out the community!

Spring Laua

Last night, the spring luau was held at Jessica's school. The first thing Jessica wanted to do was get her hair done!

Jessica ran into her friend, Gracie. They did the limbo and danced.

Next, Jessica made sand art in a bottle.

There were a lot of carnival type games to play based on Hawaiian stuff of course! There was pin the fin on the dolphin, build a totem pole, matching flip flops, fish pong, etc.

Jessica had fun with tossing the beanbag in the volcano and the spinning apple ride. Inside the gym, there were a lot of huge inflatable jumping games!

It was such a fun night. Kayla and Jessica are getting ready to leave. There was a rainbow in the sky after the event! How fun!

Yogi was sad that he missed out on the spring luau. He was happy to see Jessica when she came home though.

The other thing Jessica learned was her name in Hawaiian which is "Lekika"!

Yogi's New Bed

Daddy stayed in Washington D.C. a whole week for a work trip. He just came back. Daddy left his opened and unpacked suitcase on the floor. Yogi discovered it made a nice, comfortable bed for him.

Almost Spring!

It's still March and not even Spring yet, but it sure has been hot! Georgia has hit some record high temperatures in March. Jessica still knows how to have fun. Here she is in the living room one night. She is very creative and enjoys making a fort out of couch cushions and blankets:

Jessica's friend, Morgan comes over to play after school one day. Morgan and Jessica have fun making crafts in the kitchen:

We have been enjoyed this mild Winter, but boy, we should be expecting an extra hot summer!

The "Eggplant"

Jessica planted an eggplant in Sunday school a couple of weeks ago. She has been watering it and taking good care of it. Look at how the green stems are blooming!

Jessica's Kindergarten class took a picture of her and wrote kind messages about her:

So cute! The messages translate to:
"She is pretty."
"You are nice."
"You are polite."
"I dress fancy." by Jessica herself!
"I like her necklace."
Last night we celebrated Mimi's 60th birthday at a fine dining French restaurant. There were Easter decorations in the front lobby. Jessica happily posed. I think she's getting excited that the Easter Bunny is coming in a month!

Upcoming Freshman!

I could not believe Kayla and I were at the high school this evening getting her registered. She has signed up for all her classes and will be joining DECA. Where did all the time go? :(
