Sprinkler Fun

The cousins came over for Labor Day weekend. They enjoyed playing in the sprinkler right before it started raining!

Mall Rat

Last night was the first night the 1 Direction movie was out Kayla and
2 of her friends went to the movie. So Jessica did her own thing hanging out at the mall. Here she goes bungee bouncing.

We went to Build a Bear workshop. Jessie picked out a white polar bear. Jessica gave her bear a bath. She named the bear Snowy. Cute!

Jessie put a 1 Direction shirt on her best. I guess that was appropriate since Kayla and her friends were watching the movie the first night it came out!

I think this photo could be her album cover! I am so proud of Jessie because she writes her own songs. They are so poetic and meaningful from a 7 year old! Way to go:)

National Dog's Day

Celebrate!

Yes, August 26 became National Dog's Day in 2004. It was first started for homeless and rescue dogs. But now the holiday is for all dogs! Woof!

End of August

It's getting near the end of August, can't believe school has been in session for almost a month!
Kayla and Jessica have made some new friends who have moved to our area.

Oh, and tonight, Jessica lost her front tooth! This is the 3rd tooth she has lost and we look forward to our visit from the tooth fairy tonight!

And the tooth fairy did come. She took Jessica's tooth and left her a bag of coins and shiny purple glitter. Jessica found a tiny pair of heart shaped sunglasses and said that the tooth fairy must have left them! She didn't recognize the sunglasses as belonging to one of her Barbie dolls! Ofcourse, the tooth fairy probably wanted Jessica to keep them:)

Second Grader

Jessie enjoyed the last moments of summer...then she became a
2nd Grader!

We stayed in a north Georgia mountains cabin on the last weekend before school starts back. We were across the street from the Alpine Village. We had fun shopping and visiting the black bear park:-)
