Elf on the Shelf & his crazy surprises!

Carlos never fails to surprise Jessica and make her laugh every single morning. Here is what he has been doing lately. Last Tuesday morning, Jessica woke up and had a hard time finding Carlos. She finally walked into the sunroom and found him hanging out in in ivy plant. I think he was pretending to be Tarzan.
On Wednesday morning, we found Carlos had made a disgusting treat for himself. He got into the leftover angel hair pasta I cooked for dinner and poured maple syrup and candy sprinkles all over it! It's not very appetizing, but that's what elves enjoy!
Then this morning, Carlos planned a pretty funny surprise for Jessica. She previously wrote 2 letters to Carlos and a questionnaire and he answered back! He hung the answers and hung himself up with the picture hanging magnet on the fridge. Cool. He also found the Barrack Obama magnet and hung him upside down and wrote stinky! by his feet! He must have heard everybody being angry that they were losing their healthcare. Oh well, ha ha.
I also bought Jessica a cute cup with her name on it at the mall on Sunday. It didn't come with a straw. So Carlos got a straw for her cup and included a little parasol on it. Cute!
We are glad that Carlos is making Christmas a little more fun for Jessie:)
On the morning of my birthday, December 6, we discovered Carlos hid in a Christmas gift box with his head poking through the middle of the word: JOY. He had drank one of Daddy's last beers with a fancy parasol straw and was holding a noisemaker. I wonder if that meant he was celebrating my birthday under the Christmas tree!
The morning of December 7: Auburn was playing the SEC championship game that night. Carlos decked out in Auburn gear. I think he heard Jessie talking about how she wanted Carlos to deck out in Auburn stuff! He got into some blue and orange beads, a couple of Auburn ribbons he clipped on his hat, and sat in front of a giant sparkling orange and blue pom pom! Do you know what? Auburn won the SEC championship that night! It must have been because of Carlos! War Eagle!
