Later in the evening, the family went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant. It was a nice birthday, and we look forward to counting down to Christmas! Here are Kayla and her friends:

Mommy went to reader's workshop in Jessica's Kindergarten class this morning. Here she is showing off some snowflakes she made:
After school, Jessica had her favorite winter treat: hot chocolate and chocolate chips. She also helped make muffins afterward:
Jessica can't wait for her visit from Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. Originally she wanted him to bring her an ipad and a rabbit! Later, she said she wanted some kind of magic markers and an easy bake oven. I'm sure Jessica will be happy with the toys Santa brings her. Kayla says she does not know what she wants for Christmas this year! I'm sure she'll think of something soon enough!
